Exam Pattern/Selection Procedure
The CISF Constable exam comprises of three levels:
- Physical Efficiency Test(PET)/ Physical Standard Test (PST)
- Written Examination
- Document verification and Medical Examination
1. Physical Efficiency Test(PET)/ Physical Standard Test (PST)
- Candidate who register themselves for recruitment will be called for Physical Efficiency Test(PET)/ Physical Standard Test (PST).
- Physical Efficiency Test(PET)/Physical Standard Test(PST) will be conducted at different centres
- Relaxation in height/chest will be given by producing documents at the time of Physical Standard Test (PST)/Physical Efficiency Test (PET.)
- In Physical Efficiency Test (PET), candidates have to clear 5 kms run in 24 minutes.
- In Physical Standard Test (PST), candidates will be screened for height, chest and weight. Candidate should have minimum height of 170 cms, chest should be minimum 80-85 cms with expansion of 5 cms. However, for relaxation to candidates from hilly areas may read the official notification.
2. Written Examination
- Candidates who clears Physical Efficiency Test(PET)/Physical Standard Test (PST) will be called for written examination which comprises the following.
