Exam Pattern/Selection Procedure
- The Candidates shall be required to take down dictation at the speed of 120 w.p.m. in English Shorthand and to transcribe the same on the computer at the speed of 24 w.p.m. The duration shall be of 10 minutes. So as to qualify , candidate has to commit less than 5 % mistakes.
- Spread sheet test is of 10 marks which shall be only qualifying in nature and its duration is 10 minutes. To qualify the spreadsheet test, candidates shall have to get 40% or more marks i.e. 4 or more marks. Final lists of qualified candidates (category-wise) will be prepared based on merit in the word processing/transcription test
