    Exam Pattern

    The Haryana HSSC Constable exam comprises of Three levels:

    1. Physical Measurement Test (PMT)
    2. Physical Screening Test (PST)
    3. Knoweledge Test
    4. Document Verification
    1. Physical Measurement Test (PMT)

    The candidates shall have to undergo Physical Measurement Test as per standards prescribed, which are as follows:

    • Candidate who qualify shall be called for Physical Screening Test (PST).

    2. Physical Screening Test (PST)

    This is physical fitness and endurance test. The standards prescribed are as follows:

    Ex-Serviceman 1 5 min
    • Candidate who qualify shall be called for Knowledge Test
    • Failed candidates shall be eliminated.

    3. Knowledge Test (94.5 % weightage) for post of Constable (Male and Female), Constable ( Indian Reserve Battalion)

    The test comprise of the following subjects:

      • General Studies
      • General Science
      • Current Affairs
      • General Reasoning
      • Mental Aptitude
      • Numerical Ability
      • Agriculture
      • Animal Husbandry
      • Other relevant fields/trades etc.
      • Basic Knowledge of Computer
    • Duration: 105 minutes
    • Marks:100
    • No of Questions:5 Minutes
    • Type: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ’s)
    • Marking: No negative

    3.Knowledge Test (64.5 % weightage) for post of Constable (Mounted armed police)

    The test comprise of the following subjects:

      • General Studies
      • General Science
      • Current Affairs
      • General Reasoning
      • Mental Aptitude
      • Numerical Ability
      • Agriculture
      • Animal Husbandry
      • Other relevant fields/trades etc.
      • Basic Knowledge of Computer
    • Duration: 105 minutes
    • Marks:100
    • No of Questions:5 Minutes
    • Type: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ’s)
    • Marking: No negative

    4. Document Verification

    • Candidate qualifying knowledge test will be called for document verification.
    • Candidates having NCC level A,B and C certificate shall be provided marks 3,2 and 1 respectively.
    • For Candidate appearing for constable (mounted armed police), there shall be weightage of upto 10 marks Internatiohnal, National, State level championship.
    • There will be riding skill test for post of Constable (Mounted armed police) comprising of 20 marks.
