Age Limit
- Candidates must born between 01.11.2003 to 30.04.2007.
Eligibilty Criteria
- Candidates must have passed 12th grade with Subjects as Physics, Chemistry and biology.
- Candidate should have at least 50% marks in aggregate and 40% marks in each subject
- Only males are eligible for this post
Exam Pattern/Selection Procedure
The exam shall comprises of three levels:
- Stage-I: Shortlisting
- Stage-II: Physical Fitness Test (PFT)
- Written Examination
1. Stage-I: Shortlisting
- Shortlisting of candidates would be based on aggregate percentage obtained in Physics, Chemistry and Biology at 12th level. Cut-off may vary from state to state as as vacancies as been allocated in state wise manner. Shortlisted Candidate would be called for Stage-II
2. Physical Fitness Test
- Candidates has to qualify Physical Fitness Test (PFT) of which details are as follows:

What is the training period for SSR medical assistant
The duration of the Navy SSR program is 24 weeks of Basic Training at INS Chilka, followed by Professional training in the allotted trade in various Naval Training Establishments.
What will be offered to Sailors SSR medical Assistant in addition to stipend during training period.
Sailors will be given Books, Magazines, uniform, Foods and accommodation during training period.
What is salary of Indian Navy Sailor SSR Medical Assistant
During raining period, a stipened of Rs 14,600/- per month will be paid. On succesfull completion of training, candidates will be placed under Level 3 of Defence pay matrix ( Rs 21,700 to Rs 69,100). In addition MSP @ Rs 5200/- per month and DA will be paid.
