Combined Graduate Level (CGL)
- Purpose: Qualifying exam for Group B (Gazetted and Non-Gazetted) and Group C positions in Central Government Department, Ministries and Organizations.
- Position:
- Inspectors (Income Tax, Customs, Central Goods and Service Tax)
- Assistants ( Ministries, Department and Organizations),
- Assistant Audit/Accounts Officer (Indian Audit and Accounts Department under C&AG)
- Assistant Enforcement Officer (Directorate of Enforcement)
- Sub-Inspector (CBI)
- Divisional Accountant ( Offices under C&AG)
- Auditor ( Offices under C&AG)
- Tax Assistant (CBIC and CBDT)
- Junior Accountant, Upper Division Clerk ( Ministries, Departments)
- Eligibility: Graduation or equivalent qualifications.
- Age Limit:
- 18 -27 years for Auditor, Accountant, Upper Division Clerk
- 20-30 years for Assistant Section Officer and Sub Inspector in CBI
- 18-30 years for Divisional Accountant, Inspector (CBDT,CBIC, Posts), Assistant Enforcement Officer
- 18-32 years for Junior Statistical Officer
- Exam Pattern:
- Tier I: Computer based Test containing MCQ’s from sections General Awareness, Quantitative ability, Reasoning ability and English. This is only qualifying in nature.
- Tier II: Computer based Test containing MCQ’s from sections General Awareness, Quantitative ability, Reasoning ability and English. There will be sections on Computer Knowledge and Data Speed Test but both sections are qualifying in nature
- Merit: It is prepared on basis of marks of Tier II
- Frequency: Conducted once a year
Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL)
- Purpose: Qualifying exam for Group C positions in Central Government Department, Ministries and Organizations.
- Position:
- Lower Division Clerk (LDC)
- Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA)
- Data Entry Operator (DEO)
- Eligibility: 12th standard or equivalent qualifications.
- Age Limit: 18-27 years
- Exam Pattern:
- Tier I: Computer based Test containing MCQ’s from sections General Awareness, Quantitative ability, Reasoning ability and English.
- Tier II: Computer based Test containing MCQ’s from sections General Awareness, Quantitative ability, Reasoning ability and English. There is Computer Knowledge Test and a Skill/Typing test, both of which are qualifying in nature.
- Merit: It is prepared on basis of combined marks of Tier I and Tier II.
- Frequency: Conducted once a year.
Multi Tasking Staff (MTS)
- Purpose: Qualifying exam for Group D positions in central government Department, Ministries and Organizations.
- Position:
- Peon
- Hawaldar
- Gardener
- Safaiwala
- Jamadar
- Chowkidar
- Eligibility: 10th standard or equivalent qualifications.
- Age Limit: 18 to 25 Years ( For Hawaldar 27 Years)
- Exam Pattern:
- Online Test: Computer based Test containing MCQ’s from sections General Awareness, Quantitative ability, Reasoning ability and English.
- Physical Standard Test/ Physical Efficiency Test(PST/PET): For candidates appearing for post of Hawaldar, Male candidates has to qualify walking ( 1600 m in 15 min) and cycling ( 8 Km in 30 min) and for female candidates walking ( 1000 m in 20 min) and cycling ( 3 Km in 25 min). Whereas, PST require minimum height and chest for candidate to qualify.
- Merit: It is prepared on basis of marks of online test.
- Frequency: Conducted once a year.
Central Police Organization (CPO)
- Purpose: Qualifying exam for Group B in Pay Level-6 positions in Central Government Department
- Position:
- Sub-Inspector ( Delhi Police and CAPF)
- Eligibility: Graduation or equivalent qualifications.
- Age Limit: 20 to 25 Years.
- Exam Pattern:
- Tier I: Computer based Test containing MCQ’s from sections General Awareness, Quantitative ability, Reasoning ability and English.
- Physical Standard Test/ Physical Efficiency Test(PST/PET): For candidates appearing for post of Hawaldar, Male candidates has to qualify race ( 100 m in 16 sec and 1.6 Km 6.5 min), long jump ( 3.65 m in 3 chances), high jump (1.2 m in 3 chances) and short put (4.5 m in 3 chances) for female candidates race ( 100 m in 18 sec and 800 m 4 min), long jump ( 2.7 m in 3 chances), high jump (0.9 m in 3 chances). Whereas, PST require minimum height and chest for candidate to qualify.
- Tier II: Computer based Test containing MCQ’s from sections English Language and Comprehension.
- Medical Test: Minimum eye vision (6/6 better eye, 6/9 worse eye), Distant eye vision (6/6 better eye, 6/9 worse eye)
- Merit: It is prepared on basis of combined marks of Tier I and Tier II.
- Frequency: Conducted once a year.
General Duty (GD)
- Purpose: Qualifying exam for Group C in pay level 1 and 3 positions in central government Department and Organizations.
- Position:
- Constable ( BSF, CISF, CRPF, ITBP, NIA, SSB and SSF)
- Eligibility: 10th Standard or equivalent qualifications.
- Age Limit: 18 to 23 Years.
- Exam Pattern:
- Online Test: Computer based Test containing MCQ’s from sections General Awareness, Quantitative ability, Reasoning ability and English.
- Physical Standard Test/ Physical Efficiency Test(PST/PET): For candidates appearing for post of Hawaldar, Male candidates has to qualify race ( 5 Km in 24 min) for female candidates race ( 1.6 Km in 8.5 min). Whereas, PST require minimum height and chest for candidate to qualify.
- Medical Test: Evaluate Physical and Medical fitness of candidate.
- Merit: It is prepared on basis of marks of online test.
- Frequency: Conducted once a year.
Stenographer
- Purpose: Qualifying exam for Group C and D positions in central government Department, Ministries and Organizations.
- Position:
- Stenographer
- Eligibility: 12th Standard or equivalent qualifications.
- Age Limit: 18 to 27 Years for Grade D and 18 to 30 Years for Grade C.
- Exam Pattern:
- Online Test: Computer based Test containing MCQ’s from sections General Awareness, Quantitative ability, Reasoning ability and English.
- Shorthand: This is typing test which is qualifying in nature.
- Merit: It is prepared on basis of marks of online test.
- Frequency: Conducted once a year.
Delhi Police Constable
- Purpose: Qualifying exam for pay level 3 positions in Central Government Department
- Position:
- Constable
- Eligibility: 12th Standard or equivalent qualifications.
- Age Limit: 18 to 25 Years.
- Exam Pattern:
- Online Test: Computer based Test containing MCQ’s from sections General Awareness, Quantitative ability, Reasoning ability, Computer Knowledge and English.

- Purpose: Qualifying exam for pay level 4 positions in central government Department.

- Online Test: Computer based Test containing MCQ’s from sections General Awareness, Quantitative ability, Reasoning ability, Computer Knowledge and English.
- Physical Standard Test/ Physical Efficiency Test(PST/PET): Male candidates has to qualify race ( 1600 m in 6 min), long jump (14 feet) and High Jump (3 feet 9 inches) for female candidates race ( 1.6 Km in 8 min), long jump (10 feet) and High Jump (3 feet). - Typing Test: Candidate has to type 30 wpm in English or 25 wpm in Hindi. It is qualifying in nature.
- Computer formatting test: It check basis knowledge of MS word and Excel. It is qualifying in nature.
- Merit: It is prepared on basis of marks secured in online test.
- Frequency: Conducted once a year.
Junior Engineer (JE)
- Purpose: Qualifying exam for pay level 6 positions in central government Department.
- Position:
- Junior Engineer ( Civil, Electrical and Mechanical)
- Eligibility: Diploma/Degree in Civil, Electrical and Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualifications (Vary depending on post applied for).
- Age Limit: upto the age of 30 or 32 Years (Depends on post applied for)
- Exam Pattern:
- Paper I: Computer based Test containing MCQ’s from sections General Awareness, Reasoning ability, General Engineering (Civil/Electrical/Mechanical)
- Paper II: Computer based Test containing MCQ’s from sections General Engineering (Civil/Electrical/Mechanical)
- Frequency: Conducted once a year.
10. Junior Hindi Translator
- Purpose: Qualifying exam for pay level 6 and 7 positions in central government Department.
- Position:
- Junior Hindi Translator
- Hindi Pradhyapak
- Senior Hindi Translator
- Eligibility: Master Degree in Hindi or English or any other subject.
- Age Limit: 18-30 Years
- Exam Pattern:
- Paper I: Computer based Test containing MCQ’s from sections General English and General Hindi
- Paper II: Descriptive paper constituting essay writing and translation in Hindi and English both.
- Medical Examination: Evaluate Physical and Medical fitness of candidate
- Frequency: Conducted once a year.
Conclusion: Staff Selection has not released Calendar for Various exams which will be conducted in 2025. As and when it gets released, exam date of various SSC exams will be published in our website.
