- Selected candidates have to undergo training for a period of 1 (one) year at field units of OPTCL
including Induction-cum-Orientation training. If the performance of the trainee is found
unsatisfactory during the training period or in the final evaluation after one year of training, the
training period will be extended for a further period of six months. If performance is not found
satisfactory after the extension period, the service will be terminated
